Dear Doctor & Friends,
In the workshops, I’ve repeatedly said that our over-identification with our thoughts and emotions cause the neuro-hormonal cascade of stress hormones which makes us ill. It’s normal and beneficial to be aware of the innately intelligence signals your body/mind gives you, to let you know something is disturbing you.
Unfortunately, our society does not teach children or adults how to accept stress (chaos and mistakes are natural phenomena) or how to relax into stress, since stress is rarely avoidable. This leads people to over-think their problems, which typically produces no resolve and often results in physical and mental illness.
The Solution to Stress is Simple

Without simple stress-reduction techniques at their fingertips, our patients cannot resource the innate intelligence of their nervous system, to prevent them from getting sick.
